Peter's Notices - 9th August 2020

Dear All,

Video Service for Sunday, led by Revd Paul Mellars, can be found here:

Holy Communion in Church –Sunday 9 August 10am, led by Revd Joel Bird

We ask everyone else to wear a mask unless exempted for medical reasons etc. We have some spare masks available for anyone who needs one.

The advice / government guidelines have changed again to say that whoever is leading the service does not have to wear a mask or visor, apart from when they are giving out the bread, and those who are reading can take their masks off to read.

We will keep doing the online services, as it is still not recommended for people in the shielding category to come, and we know others will be cautious. Any thoughts etc., please let me know.

All our Video Services and Daily Prayer can be found at:

Acts 15:1-21, Matthew 7:15-20

A good morning to you all

Would you please find enclosed the following:

  1. Minutes for CTDD Extraordinary Exec (July 2020)
  2. Finance Report (previously uncirculated)
  3. Churches' Update (July 2020)

Can you please circulate the Churches' Update in your respective congregations so that we may continue to pray, to encourage and to support each other as the 'Household of Faith' here in Dronfield. I must admit that I like this term a lot and it has been buzzing around my head for the last few weeks as I pray on and ponder what church is to look like in this ongoing strange time.

Please continue to pray and to keep in touch.
