Christian Aid Lent Boxes

I have paid into the bank £140.84 (it would have been a bit more if the bank counting machine hadn’t declined the odd euro, US cent and, for some reason, UK coinage!) donated to Christian Aid by St John’s folk, largely via the Lent boxes.

Barry tells me that this money, along with that raised by the other churches, has enabled us to reach the £5k 2-year total that we had set ourselves to raise to go towards Christian Aid's Lebanon and Iraq Community Project.

If any more boxes are returned, I’ll obviously see that the money is paid into CA account.

Many thanks. Derek Millington
