Readings and Collect
Acts 10. 44 – 48
John 15.9-17

Risen Christ, by the lakeside you renewed your call to your disciples;
help your Church to obey your command and draw the nations to the fire of your love,
to the glory of God the Father.

Please remember in your prayers: Marion Giles and William Eardley’s family.

Coffee after the Sunday services – 11.45am by Zoom:
We invite you to “virtual” after (or before??) service refreshments

Kingdom Come” – 10 Days of Prayer from Ascension Day to Pentecost
The Church Nationally is promoting 10 days of prayer from Ascension (May 13) to Pentecost (May 23). Our online daily prayers will take up the theme. Other resources are available here: New For 2021 | Thy Kingdom Come

Christian Aid Week starts today (Sunday 9 May), Unfortunately, with the continuing pandemic situation and as was the case last year, arrangements for the door-to-door house collection are not possible to any great extent. However, I will be delivering envelopes to my usual streets but with no return for the collection of donations.

If you too feel able to do this, please let me know asap and I will let you have a supply of envelopes and the names of the streets for delivery. Donation envelopes should be taken to the church office from where I will collect.

Should you wish to make a donation, there will be a supply of envelopes at the back of church or, alternatively, you can donate on-line; the link is https://envelope.christianaid.org.uk/envelope/dronfield-ca-week-2021?channel=copy
