and by following in his way
come to share in his glory;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN

Dear Mighty God,
We pray at this time for those who make decisions about a new Rector, to find

Many thanks. Derek

The theme is ‘Celebration’. There are many ways you can be involved in this event from flower arranging to helping with refreshments, running a stall, or welcoming people to our church, your help would be really appreciated. St Andrew’s Praise Night, 6.30pm, Sunday 13th March, St. Andrew’s Community Church. This is a real oasis in a hectic world, and is open to people from all churches or from none who just want to draw closer to God.

Parish Co-ordinator I am pleased to tell you that Alison Bowen (our current temporary administrator) has been appointed to the new role of Parish Co-ordinator, working 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday, starting at the beginning of April. Alison (who belongs to the Dronfield Parish Church family) joins our staff team with the primary role of supporting Revs. Paul Mellars, myself, Ian Price, Joel Bird (and later Elliot George and the new Team Rector) in our ministry in the parish. Alison will be a lay leader in her own right and this is part the parish, diocesan and national church vision to enable and equip lay people in leadership. Alison will continue to undertake or oversee most of the parish-wide admin tasks that have previously been done out of the Parish Office, including supporting baptism, wedding and funeral ministry. Please pray for Alison as she takes on this important ministry. Rev. Ian Webb, Team Vicar.
