Prayer for the Dronfield with Holmesfield team.
Dear Mighty God,
We pray at this time for those who make decisions about a new Rector, to find the right person.
We hope that this person will be understanding, kind, enthusiastic,
and inspiring for the local community, our team of five churches and our school. Amen
Worship Council Kids at St Andrew’s church school.

Please remember in your prayers:
Bernard Broadhead, Pat Walker, Edith Hobson, Malcolm Styan, Faye Jowle, Becca Eavers, our new curate Elliot George and his wife Megan, Revd Paul Mellars and his family, Christine and Emily.

We give thanks this Sunday and celebrate at St Andrew’s at 10am the baptism of Emily, Rev Ian Prices granddaughter. Emily and the family have been in all our prayers across the team, CTDD and beyond. We particularly give thanks for the medical team that is providing her continuing care, for the love and support of all the family and friends, but most of all Emily’s strength and resilience. May God bless them all as she is baptised into Gods family. Rev Paul.

The family and friends of Isla Grace Parnell and Matthew Francis Kingdon-Poole who are to be baptised on Sunday 17th July at 12noon.

Please pray for the family and friends of Marion Monaghan whose funeral is this week.

‘Wednesday at Eight’ Organ recital. Recently we were privileged to be entertained by an international concert organist, a Polish professor of music, Dr Michal Szostak, who had flown over from Poland specifically to play our organ. He’d put together a really enjoyable programme and his interpretation of the pieces were truly memorable. As always, thanks to Jean (and Caroline) ‘for making it happen’ and to Rob for the live streaming – the recital can be seen/heard courtesy of YouTube ( Derek

Alpha is at Dronfield Baptist Church on Wednesday 7th September from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and runs for 12 weeks.
Alpha is a brilliant and relaxed way to check out the Christian faith with no pressure or expectations. It only works if Christians invite people they know who they think might be interested. We believe that God is already at work in people's lives - so Christians of Dronfield and District - be praying about this and see which (at least!) one person God is calling you to invite.

Little Fishes Join us with your pre-school children and babies on Friday 22nd July for songs, rhymes, games, stories, craft and prayer time. We meet in church and we would love you to join us. If you want any further information please call Alison.
