Church open for private prayer The church will be open for private prayer every day  9.30am - 4.00pm. Volunteers for the unlocking and locking rota are needed. Please contact the Parish Office if this is something you could help with 412328.

Concerning Covid precautions Following our understanding of government regulations, advice and common sense please remember to wear a face mask unless you are exempt, sanitise your hands and if possible, please take lateral flow tests before coming to church. Being treble jabbed does reduce the risks considerably, but not completely, we are leaving it to individuals to make their own choices, and we are delighted that we can provide the online option for most of the services.

The Parish Office opening hours: The office is open to visitors Wednesday to Friday  9.30am –12.00pm. Please note office Friday 4^th only open 9.30 – 11.00.

Church Flowers The flower fund is very low, we would be grateful for any donations towards the beautiful flower arrangements Jean creates. If you would like to make a donation, please speak to Jean Hobson. Thank you.

Christian Aid Update I’m pleased to let you know that the Dronfield Churches’ Christian Aid Committee have been able to forward £1,500.00, raised from recent fund raising activities. This has gone to Christian Aids central office to help alleviate the needs of many around our world. Derek

No 10am Communion on Wednesday 16^th February. There will NOT be a 10.00am Wednesday morning communion service on 16th February as it is Kath Manning’s funeral at 10.00am on that date.

Safeguarding Training – ‘In person’ training day
Monday 28^th March, St Matthew's Church, Renishaw
We are aware that there are some people across the diocese who are unable to use computers, and therefore have difficulty in accessing the Basic and Foundation training (which is e-learning), and Leadership Training which is on Zoom. We are providing an opportunity for a limited number of people to attend this training in person.  

Basic Awareness 9.15-10.30am
Safeguarding Foundations 11.00am-12.30pm
Safeguarding Leadership 1.00-4.00pm

Places are limited, booking is essential by Thursday 17^th March at the latest. Please contact judie.fogarty@derby.anglican.org to reserve places for people, stating which course/s are required, providing the person’s name, their church and parish, and role.
