Services for Sunday 6th February 2022 9.30am Holy Communion service led by Revd Eddie and Chris Orme, live and online. We are now unable to provide words with our online streaming but have a limited number of hymn books and orders of service to help support people who can only access our services online. Sadly Kath Manning has died, her funeral will take place at St Johns at 10am on Wednesday 16th February. Please remember Kath and her family in your prayers. Coffee after the Sunday services - 11.45am by Zoom (possibly starting a bit late this week): Church open for private prayer The church will be open for private prayer every day 9.30am - 4.00pm. Concerning Covid precautions Following our understanding of government regulations, advice and common sense please remember to wear a face mask unless you are exempt, sanitise your hands and if possible, please take lateral flow tests before coming to church. Being treble jabbed does reduce the risks considerably, but not completely, we are leaving it to individuals to make their own choices, and we are delighted that we can provide the online option for most of the services. The Parish Office opening hours: The office is open to visitors Wednesday to Friday 9.30am –12.00pm. Please note office Friday 4th only open 9.30 – 11.00. Church Flowers The flower fund is very low, we would be grateful for any donations towards the beautiful flower arrangements Jean creates. Christian Aid Update I’m pleased to let you know that the Dronfield Churches’ Christian Aid Committee have been able to forward £1,500.00, raised from recent fund raising activities. This has gone to Christian Aids central office to help alleviate the needs of many around our world. Derek No 10am Communion on Wednesday 16th February. There will NOT be a 10.00am Wednesday morning communion service on 16th February as it is Kath Manning’s funeral at 10.00am on that date. Deanery Support for School Governors The Deanery is compiling a list of School Governors, to offer support and/or training.
