True and humble king,
hailed by the crowd as Messiah:
grant us the faith to know and love you,
that we may be found beside you
on the way of the cross, which is the path of glory. Amen

Please remember in your prayers: Olga, and Marion, both now back home.

News: As we can’t meet together as we used to do, do you have any news to share? Please send items to the office by 9am on Thursdays

From Peter:
A wood anemone, glorious in the sunshine on Monday, spotted on a walk in the Moss Valley – thank you Brian Bennet for the recommendation. Does anyone else have photos or news to share?

“Big Read” – Singing in Babylon

For Lent this year we’re joining in with "The Big Church Read" looking at "Singing in Babylon" - a book that looks at stories of Daniel and how we can respond and thrive when we don't get what we want - Daniel was in exile, we are in lockdown... We will have "zoom" groups so we can share what we think, or you can just read it by yourself. Copies can be obtained at £10 from

The Zoom groups are:

Sundays 6.30pm - hosted by Ian Webb

Mondays 6.45pm - hosted by Paul Mellars

Wednesdays 2pm - hosted by Tony Bethel

Wednesdays 7.30pm - hosted by Joel Bird

Please just join any group you want to by clicking on the link at the appropriate time. You shouldn’t need the meeting ID and Passcode.

Also for Lent, a weekly Zoom Prayer meeting, led by Paul Mellars:

Starting at 7.30pm on Monday 22nd February.

Everyone welcome.
